Please explain to Perv and I why you are so fascinated with the Twilight books and movies. I don’t understand the phenomenon. I have seen the first movie and thought it wasn’t anything special. I thought for a vampire movie it was pretty weak. I think I would’ve rather watched Vampire in Brooklyn than Twilight. So if you are reading this please defend your obsession with Twilight. Help us understand why you enjoy this stuff.

I enjoyed Robert is Bothered immensely…but I will not try to explain to you both what makes the books (not so much the movies) so amazing. Its a girl thing I think. Something about angsty teenage love that brings you back to your earlier years…or current if you’re still an angsty teenager.
PS – T insists the books are sprinkled with crack to make us all so rabid.
Well I never thought about that angle. With the whole teenage angst angle. So its kind of the same reason why everybody watched Save By the Bell or Beverly Hills 90210! Except this is with vampires. So which one is Screech or Dylan in the Twilight books??

Twilight is Gay. OK, that’s not fair to all the homosexuals. They’re not all a bunch of girly-men. … I read all the books and I do have to agree..they are far better than the movies, at least the first one; New Moon Movie is way better.I wouldnt be able to explain why I like the series so much, I mean it has romance, action and the last book is just the greatest twist ever! LOve them, love them, love them…
